Lemonade is almost everyone's favorite refreshing drink.
To this I have added gooseberry, mint and ginger for a healthy twist.
Drinking lemon water itself aids in various health benefits like weight loss, gives natural electrolyte to your body, promote hydration, etc., By infusing it with gooseberry, mint and ginger you can have a super immune boosting healthy drink.
Let us see the recipe of gooseberry lemonade.

Gooseberry Lemonade
INGREDIENTS
Gooseberry - 1 |
Lemon - 1 |
Mint leaves - few |
Ginger - 1 inch piece |
Sugar - 1/2 cup (approx 12 - 15 tsp), instead of sugar you can also use honey 1/2 cup |
Water - 4 cup |
For Seasoning |
Lemon - 1/2 |
Black salt or Pink salt - 2 to 3 tsp |
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Take the gooseberry and shred it.
2. Transfer the shredded gooseberry to a blender.
3. Also add ginger and mint.
4. Then squeeze one lemon to it.
5. Blend it by adding 1/4 cup of water.
6. Transfer this to a bowl containing 1/2 cup of sugar.
7. Then strain it by adding some water
8. Extract well
9. Then dilute it by adding 3 cup water.
10. Adjust sugar and water according to your taste
11. Refrigerate it for half an hour
For Serving :
1. Squeeze half lemon in a bowl.
2. Take a plate and sprinkle 2 to 3 tsp of Koshar salt (if not availalbe black or pink salt is ok).
3. Wet the rim of the glass jar by slightly touching it in a lime juice.
4. Dip the glass over into the salt.
5. Pour the juice into the glass and serve chill.

1. For more healthier, instead of sugar use honey.
2. Sourness may vary depending upon the fruit, so adjust water and sweetness accordingly.
